CORE's Newest Neuro-Exercise Specialist
You may have noticed a new face in the gym, but allow us to officially introduce our newest member to the Training Team, Luke! Luke joined the team in early April, with a background in as a Stretch Specialist and Kinesiology degree. He's excited to bring his energy and motivation into the gym and willing to go the extra mile to help our clients achieve their goals. Please be sure to introduce yourself when you see him around the gym if you haven't already.
Farewell Spring Interns
We had a great group of interns this spring and we hate to see them go, but wish them all the best in their future endeavors!
Welcome Back Michael!
You may have noticed Michael's absence in the gym over the past 6 weeks as he completed a clinical rotation for school, but we are happy to announce that he is back in the gym and ready to start training with you all again!

Memorial Day
Memorial Day is Monday, May 29th. In recognition of the holiday, CORE will be closed Saturday, May 27th through Monday, May 29th. Regular training hours and class schedules will resume on Tuesday, May 30th.
Oceans of Hope
Many of you already know of this awesome organization, but in case you don't, we'll fill you in. Oceans of Hope offers adaptive ocean access and surfing events, held multiple times throughout the summer in New Smyrna Beach. If you've been wanting to get out on the beach or try something new, this is your chance.
The CORE team will be volunteering at the Saturday, July 29th event. Space is limited this year, so attendees are limited to one event. Sign up on Oceans of Hope's website before time runs out, and if you'd like to be there with the CORE team be sure to book yourself for July 29th!

CORE C.H.A.M.P.s
This month's employee C.H.A.M.P. is Morgan! Morgan is a true team player, always lending a helping hand and thriving when the gym is at its busiest. She makes sure all of our lovely clients feel accomplished before they leave the gym for the day, and has been a great example of hard work for our interns.
As this month's C.H.A.M.P., Morgan has selected Elena as our CORE Client C.H.A.M.P.! Elena's work ethic toward her recovery has proven that hard work does pay off. She's started driving, can complete leg presses independently, and is walking in her braces using crutches. We can't wait to see what else she can do!
Keep up the great work!
