Christmas in July

It may seem a little early to bring up the holidays, but we’re kicking off our 2023 Reindeer Run & Roll 5k registration with Christmas in July!

We’ll have some festive fun in the gym July 10-15th, with our Slay Your Sleigh Wheelchair Wash on July 11th and 12th. All proceeds from the wheelchair wash go directly to the CORE Foundation to support scholarships for activity-based training.

Registration for the Reindeer Run & Roll 5k begins July 10th! Sign up early to get our Early-Reindeer registration price. This year’s Run & Roll takes place Saturday, December 16th. We’ll see you there!

CORE C.H.A.M.P.s

This month’s employee C.H.A.M.P. is Dana! Dana went all out planning a wonderful murder mystery dinner party for our clients and making sure that everyone had a fantastic time.

As this month’s C.H.A.M.P., Dana has selected Will S. as our CORE Client C.H.A.M.P.! Will has demonstrated consistency and commitment, even when faced with new challenges. He’s made great strides post-injury, getting his driver’s license back and going back to work full-time. Since starting at CORE his walking time has increased and he has gained so much strength overall. And as a bonus, the training team loves having the opportunity to work with him.

Keep up the hard work!

The HILDERVAT Race for the Patric Young Foundation

This summer the Patric Young Foundation is partnering with the HILDERVAT Race to open an amazing obstacle course race opportunity for adaptive athletes. Are you up for the challenge?

How Can You Support the CORE Foundation?

The CORE Foundation was founded in 2011 to provide needed financial support and education for individuals with spinal cord injury or other neurological conditions, providing them the opportunity to participate in much needed activity-based training sessions. In 2022, CORE Foundation scholarships supported over 3,000 hours of activity-based training for those challenged with paralysis.

The CORE Foundation Scholarship is funded by the generosity of individual donations, fundraisers, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic foundation grants. You can help the CORE Foundation by attending events, such as the Reindeer Run & Roll 5k, grabbing a snack at the Foundation Fuel Market, or donating directly to the CORE Foundation.
