Caregiver Appreciation Week at CORE

Caregiver Appreciation Week is March 4th-9th! We know how hard caregivers work to take care of others, so this week is all about spoiling them. We’ll have giveaways and Caregiver FIT classes throughout the week to celebrate. Thank you to all of our selfless caregivers for all they do to help others!

Rock Steady Boxing Orlando at CORE

Our Rock Steady Boxing program has just received a generous grant from the Parkinson’s Association of Central Florida, and we are happy to say that we can now provide Rock Steady Boxing assessments at no charge for a limited time. If you know someone that may benefit from Rock Steady Boxing, please let them know about this wonderful opportunity.

The Parkinson’s Association of Central Florida will be hosting its 10th Annual Walk for Parkinson on Saturday, April 6th at Crane’s Roost Park in Altamonte Springs. Join Team Orlando as we walk to raise awareness about Parkinson’s and support local programs, education, and research to find a cure.

This month’s CORE C.H.A.M.P. is Lauryn! Lauryn is always ready to learn and get involved in training sessions, and she has proven to be an asset to CORE Nourish.

As this month’s C.H.A.M.P., Lauryn has selected Joan as the CORE Client C.H.A.M.P.! Joan has really been challenging herself lately with new exercises and continuing her hard work at home. She’s recently achieved independent sit-to-stands with little to no assistance.

Keep up the great work!
