CORE Night: Orlando Solar Bears

Survival of the FITTEST

CORE will be hosting our 4th annual adaptive fitness competition, Survival of the FITTEST on Sunday, April 28th at Primus Fitness in Orlando. This fun, challenging competition is open to anyone in the paralysis community, no competition experience necessary. See a FIT coach for more information. Registration opens March 1st.

Caregiver Appreciation Week is March 4th-9th! We know how hard caregivers work to take care of others, so this week is all about spoiling them. We’ll have giveaways and Caregiver FIT classes throughout the week to celebrate. Thank you to all of our selfless caregivers for all they do to help others!

Our Rock Steady Boxing program has just received a generous grant from the Parkinson’s Association of Central Florida, and we are happy to say that we can now provide Rock Steady Boxing assessments at no charge for a limited time. If you know someone that may benefit from Rock Steady Boxing, please let them know about this wonderful opportunity. 

The Parkinson’s Association of Central Florida will be hosting its 10th Annual Walk for Parkinson on Saturday, April 6th at Crane’s Roost Park in Altamonte Springs. Join Team Orlando as we walk to raise awareness about Parkinson’s and support local programs, education, and research to find a cure.
