December 2022 Recap
After a month of thankfulness, the CORE Team was ready to get very merry in December!
After a long year, the CORE Team was ready for a night on the town! Thank you to management for an awesome Holiday Party with the Orlando Ale Line, which IS wheelchair accessible! We cut loose with visits to three local breweries and, of course, got competitive with a team scavenger hunt with Dana and Matt for the win!
And the celebration continued with the Annual CORE Holiday Party for clients, friends, and family! Hosted by our fabulous owners Matt and Melodie, this party had it all – live entertainment, fresh paella, desserts galore and a little magic! Thank you all for making this the BIGGEST party we have had to date and celebrating the season with us!
While we all like to have fun, the work still continues in the gym. CORE was fortunate to have new client Karen A. vlog about her first time evaluation experience at CORE from a client’s perspective. We love that Karen didn’t know what to expect, but still trusted us with her body. After the evaluation, clients get a full overview of their custom recovery plan with individual short/long term goals and recommendations and then the real fun begins! We can’t wait to see Karen continue to crush her goals! Stay tuned to her channel for more!
And then we combined a little work with A LOT of fun at the second annual Reindeer Run & Roll 5k Benefitting the CORE Foundation, held on the third Saturday of December. With over 200 participants signed up, this year we doubled in size and it was AWESOME! Check out our 5k Facebook Album for literally hundreds of images from this special day. We are proud to report that we raised over $14,000 for The CORE Foundation Recovery Scholarship Program. This will provide over 250+ hours of Activity Based Training to the local spinal cord injury/paralysis community. Thank you to all of our supporters! We are already looking forward to next year!
