The holiday season is upon us, and keeping with the spirit of giving, we would like to celebrate the CORE Foundation and all it has done for those that receive the Foundation Scholarships.
The CORE Foundation was established in 2011 to provide financial support for activity based restorative therapies to those faced with the challenges of paralysis. In January 2020 there were twenty recipients, the highest number so far. As of October 2020, that number has stayed consistent. Over the nine years that the Foundation has been around, it has provided over $600,000 in scholarships to individuals that have dedicated themselves to Moving Beyond Paralysis™.
The Foundation couldn’t do any of this alone though! Generous donations have been essential, as has your support through Foundation Fuel Market purchases and fundraisers. One of our most popular fundraisers has been Trainer Payback, where clients can get revenge on their trainers, forcing them to endure a grueling amount of exercises for every dollar they raise.
Amazon Smile is another great way to rally around the CORE Foundation. This holiday season shop through smile.amazon.com using your regular Amazon account and select Foundation Inc. as your charity of choice. 0.5% of your purchase will be donated to the CORE Foundation. It’s that easy!
As we round out this hectic year and you contemplate the impact you want to make in 2021, please consider the CORE Foundation and the positive difference you can make for those living with paralysis.
