Innovation Station at CORE This Spring

The CORE Team is dedicated to providing the latest rehabilitative technology to our clients and this month we are proud to offer Innovation Station!

During your upcoming sessions, your Neuro-Exercise Specialists may be incorporating the NX Pro, the Mieron Virtual Reality system or the Shakti Mat to enhance your workout. Dalkin G. is seen above utilizing the Mieron VR System to challenge his core stability and range of motion while weight bearing and playing interactive games.

All of us are excited to expand your program in
these innovative ways!

Happy Easter!

Be sure to stop by the front desk and make your guesses for our JellyBean Jar Guessing Game!
Also, on Friday, April 2 your trainers will be incorporating some fun Easter Eggs’ercises into your workouts! Complete the challenges
to win some yummy prizes!

This is a unique opportunity to try new things while getting fit! Remember, adults with disabilities are encouraged to get at least 150 minutes per week of moderate intensity exercise.

CORE Fit is an independent, coach led group fitness class focusing on strength and cardio. Classes are Monday, Wednesday and Fridays @ 11 am and Thursdays @ 4:15 pm. If you are interested, ask a CORE Team Member for a

CORE Beyond C.H.A.M.P

We appreciate you!
Aqua Training Benefits
Stroke Survivors
With Stroke Awareness Month around the corner, CORE wants to highlight the benefits of Aqua Training for stroke survivors. Aqua Training allows clients greater mobility as body weight is decreased significantly (up to 90%). Since the water aids in balance, stroke survivors have an easier time with flexibility and stretching muscles. Buoyancy allows for increased success in movements with decreased effort. Some stroke survivors, who cannot walk on land, find it easier to stand up and even walk in a pool. Talk to the scheduling team about setting up your aquatic training session, or send our Aquatic Program Coordinator, Riley, any questions you may have using the link below!

Text Message Reminders

Great news! Our scheduling system is now set to send out text message reminders for your upcoming appointments! You will receive a reminder via text 24 hours before your appointments. If you don’t want to receive these reminders, it’s as easy as replying STOP to the first one you receive. Later on, if you change your mind, all you have to do is text START to the original message to start getting your text reminders again.
