Halloween Festivities at CORE Spooky Season has begun, and you can bet that CORE has some tricks and treats planned to celebrate! Bring your A-game to this year’s festive competitions: CORE Pumpkin Patch 10/17-10/22: Pick up a pumpkin to carve or decorate for our pumpkin contest. Pumpkin Contest Submission 10/26-10/29: Drop of your completed pumpkin at CORE for the judges to see. Halloween 10/31: All day costume contest at CORE and Pumpkin Contest winner announcement |

2022 Reindeer Run & Roll 5k The 2022 Reindeer Run & Roll 5k is Saturday, December 17th! Registration is open now, so be sure to sign up before November 4th to ensure you’ll receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. After the race, enjoy some donuts and bubbles, and get your picture with Santa as we celebrate a productive Saturday morning. Last year’s event was a hit, but this year will be bigger and better! 2022 Abilities Expo The Abilities Expo is November 4th-6th at the Double Tree Miami Airport Convention Center and CORE will have a booth at this can’t miss event! The Abilities Expo will feature informational workshops, the latest tech and products, interactive experiences, adaptive sports, and even an adaptive climbing wall. Registration is free, so what are you waiting for? |

Wheelchair Seating Clinic
Have you been wondering if your wheelchair is working right for you? Check out the Wheelchair Seating Clinic hosted by Orlando Health.
Clinic visit includes:
- Cushion pressure mapping
- Wheelchair cushion maintenance
- Wheelchair scale for obtaining current individual weight
- Possible minor wheelchair adjustments
- Assessments may lead to recommendations for full wheelchair evaluation if new wheelchair or major modifications are needed
- No charge for clinic visit

Appointments for the clinic will take place at 100 W. Gore St. Suite 104 in Orlando.
CORE C.H.A.M.P.s This month’s CORE C.H.A.M.P. is Liam! Liam really stepped up by educating the interns on electrical stimulation, and also furthered his own education in our aquatic training program and joining the aqua team. Besides that he’s a great team player all around! As this month’s C.H.A.M.P., Liam has selected Parker as our client C.H.A.M.P! Parker is a recent graduate who has started a full time career as an engineer. Despite taking on a full time job, he remains dedicated to his recovery and training. Keep up the great work guys! |
