CORE trainers use state-of-the-art equipment in the clients workout program.

Swimex Pool

Aquatic Training during which clients engage in exercises in near-weightless environment of a pool, is another innovative approach CORE has added to the program. The buoyant force of water supports up to 90 percent of a person's weight and provides a unique therapeutic environment. People with paralysis can perform actives in water that would be impossible for them on land. This training, like cycling an FES bike, can provide patterned stimulation needed to promote the growth of neural cells.

AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill

The AlterG is a revolutionary medical grade treadmill with differential air pressure technology developed by NASA. The Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill "unweights" clients to allow CORE clients to work on standing, closed-kinetic activities and gait training in a safe, controlled environment. Read More

ICARE (Intelligently Controlled Assistive Rehabilitation Elliptical)

ICARE is a motorized elliptical trainer for repetitive gait training. Integrated sensors detect the level of assistance needed and the motor reacts accordingly to provide the correct level of support.

KineAssist

HDT’s KineAssist-MX (Mobility eXtreme), provides clinicians with evidence-based tools and treatment guidelines to get patients back into the community, moving with greater confidence and more capability than can be achieved using other therapy approaches.

  • Ability to safely challenge patients in real life environments, such as over ground walking, step climbing, standing balance and dynamic balance therapy
  • Treadmill surface moves in direct response to the user’s intention
  • Unique harness system protects patients from the consequences of losing their balance by catching them before they can fall, which builds confidence in their abilities while they increase strength and stamina
  • Body-weight is supported at the hip, allowing for a natural gait without any mechanical interference

RT600 Step and Stand

The latest in Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) technology, the RT600 Step and Stand can stimulate up to any 10 muscle groups in one or both legs and trunk. more info.

Uppertone

upimg

The only product of its kind, the UPPERTONE was designed and introduced in 1990 by a C4-C5 quadriplegic. It allows people with C4-C5 and below quadriplegia (tetraplegia) due to spinal cord injury to do all the necessary upper body exercises necessary for rehabilitation and maintenance, without any assistance. Indeed they can make all the adjustments, including resistance, without hand grip strength, cuffs, or assistance.

Rewalk exoskeleton

rewalk_robotic_exoskeletons

ReWalk is a wearable robotic exoskeleton that provides powered hip and knee motion to enable individuals with  spinal cord injury (SCI) to stand upright, walk, turn, and climb and descend stairs*. The system allows independent, controlled walking while mimicking the natural gait pattern of the legs.

Hypergravity Whole Body Vibration
